Canda's North Shore: Transportation Posted by fliesandfinsnorth on Saturday, November 18 @ 15:47:44 PST For those of you that driving from your home to get to Quebec's North Shore is not a choice the, following info may be helpful. The car fairy leaves from Baie Comeau on the south shore of the St. Lawrence in Quebec. Baie Comeau also has an airport and a car rental agency. So a flight from the states and a connection from Montreal will put you in Baie Comeau, a 2 hour boat ride from the North Shore and great fishing and plenty of scenery, animals and peace and quiet. As soon as you know your going, reservations for sleeping accomodations, car and a guide should be made very early. I would wait no longer than January.
