Sea Run Brookies North Shore: Fat, Fiesty And Fun To Catch
Posted by patm on Monday, November 27 @ 08:33:35 PST
Sea Run Brook Trout are pretty much the same brook trout we catch in fresh water streams and rivers. The difference is after their spawning season they travel to the ocean. As I understand it they never travel far from the stream and begin migrating back up stream in the summer. These fish are fat, fiesty and fun to catch on the fly. Like most trout they will eat almost anything you throw in front of them. I have caught them up to 4lbs and have heard of 8 pounders caught. If
you are on the North Shore and are looking for some good fishing don't miss the chance at these beauties.
