Canada Fly Fishing: What To Pack
Posted by fliesandfinsnorth on Sunday, December 03 @ 15:26:00 PST
You will need to adapt to changing weather conditions and have with you all those things you can run to the store for at home. Those Items would be foot powder, extra toothpaste, any medications you take, glasses extra pair, reading glasses if you use them. Sun block, neosporan, or other skin care products. Aspirin or Tylenol like product, never think you can get a product that you need for personal use there, especially brand name products.
Clothing is a little more difficult as you want to dress in layers while fishing, you can always remove layers if it gets hot but if you don't have enough dry or warm clothing you will be miserable. When you drive 30 miles + out a river and you get wet and cold its going to be a bad day. I spoke about gear in another tip but I think I forgot bring a wading staff, this is not an age thing but a safety issue. Going down in some rivers in cold water can ruin your day.
