Gaspe Quebec, Grand and Petit Cascapedia: Atlantic Salmon Fishing
Posted by colin on Thursday, December 14 @ 10:28:29 PST
Sorry to trouble you. I have been pointed your way on a fishing online chat as people that could maybe give me a steer about fishing in Gaspe, Quebec. I have been offered salmon fishing in mid-August on Grand and Petit Cascapedia - would you consider this
a good time to go and do you have experiences there? Any advice greatly appreciated, best wishes & happy Christmas, Colin, Wimbledon, London.

I will do further research and post with more emperical data as soon as possible.

Greg is right, water conditions could be low.but!! rest assured the fish are there...75% of the runs are in by then.
A light tippet (4-6lbs) test, a small No-10-12 fly, a nice presentation..you're in business.
August is my favorite time to fish!!
Enjoy!!
