Gaspe Atlantic Salmon: Early Water Draw Posted by fliesandfinsnorth on Friday, December 29 @ 05:01:41 PST The early water drawings are coming up in January for Spring Atlantic Salmon fishing in Gaspe area. The agencie controlling the Draw is called ZEC and if your fishing this Spring you may want to get into the drawing in January for June fishing. You can do this by contacting the ZEC in the Gaspe area or calling an outfitter that you plan on using in the area and ask them to go through the process for you. The process wich is not unlike a raffle, gives you a chance at a selection of water rather than what is available when you get there. By calling the ZEC in Gaspe you can get the information by mail or do the process by phone. Many people do this to assure themselves water for the days they want to fish. People who are new at this may want to talk to someone they know who does this on a regular basis or call an outfitter. Watch this tip and there will be people commenting on the process.
