Tips, Ties And Tactics Fly Fishing Canada: Lowering Costs

Wether your going for Atlantic Salmon or Sea Ron Brookies, most packages are based on an even number of people, i.e., 2, 4 or 6 rods. The same usually applys to water, guides, meal packages, etc. When finding your own accomadations this double occupancy rule usually still applys. The obvious up side to this is your lowering your out of pocket costs by half.

When making your own arrangements this is a good way to keep your costs down and when you think fuel, car rental, motel rooms, food guide and maybe the cost of fishing water, 2,4 or 6 people can certainly keep your overhead down.

This true being a guide here on the North Shore of Quebec.

For a trip of 5 days 4 anglers with a guide, river beat (all access pass) sea side cabin, transportation to and from river, flies of the river, free river side coffee oh and some of quebec best fishing and scenery for less than 140 $ per day per angler.

And the same trip for 1 or two anglers can be as high as 200 a day

The best way to go is the shop around before you decide and be careful a guided trip can be alot different from guide service to outfitters

Yes, you can work out your Atlantic Salmon trip without spending millions!!!
Catch and release licenses are only $ 10.25 CAD
Access to each river ( sectors ) cost roughly between $ 75.00 CAD to $ 140.00 CAD / day.
(Guide services are available, but not mandatory)
Lodging: Motels will cost roughly $ 80.00 CAD (1 motel for anglers) / night.
Grab a lunch at Tim Horton's and in 20 minutes your fishing!!

Ann !
