Fly Fishing Nova Scotia: Sea Run Browns
Posted by fliesandfinsnorth on Sunday, January 21 @ 04:40:07 PST
I have spent the last few days on the phone, with a friend talking about Sea run Browns. He lives in a great coastal town East of Antiginish, through wich runs a great Salmon river and a river, one of many, that sees Sea Run Browns. The name of this river is Salmon river. Their are quite a few rivers of the same name so you really need to go by location. There is a small river that dumps into Issacs Harbor that has great sea run Brown runs.
Goldborro, Issacs Harbor, Drunhead and numerous other small Hamlets along this scenic coast have Sea Run Brown Runs. As these areas are scenic destinations as opposed to fishing destinations there are no crowds and great fishing. Every other river in this area holds Atlantic Salmon. Inexspensive trips with great potential.
