Tips, Ties And Tactics Fly Fishing Canada: Gear Wake Up Call

Remember the feeling you get when you get to a destination, knowing everytthing is with you because you saw it the last time you did this trip.Where is my? and thats when you realize a friend borrowed it or you were going to buy one, but forgot. The ride to your destination was 12 plus hours and there are no full service fly shops where you are now, ruling out quick replacement. Who else may have extra, flies, tippet, sinking tip, waders, rod, reel and so on, the list of things you could be missing is endless and the list of things you can fish without is short.

Theres always a sale on last years model from waders and boots to reels and even rods. This is the perfect time of year to actually go through that gear bag, not just gaze into it but determine what is and is not there, your first big trip you want to remember for the fish and friends not because you forgot your waders and line.
