I purchased a permit to fish the Penobscott river for Salmon and the price is $ 16.00. As last year there will be a fisherman's breakfast at one or 2 of the Atlantic Salmon clubs along the shore. These breakfasts are a good way to pick up some tips on fishing the river and hear some great stories about recent and past trips.Support for this activity is important for future fisherman in Maine.
