My tip is simple, when fish are not plentiful, fish wisely. This for my group of five meant starting bottom of the river up and top of the river down. Look for pools that look like holding areas, signs of fish and covering all the water including runs, pools and pocket water. We stayed on the Margaree but fished and caught fish on other rivers, some were branches of other rivers. The way to catch fish when the nay sayers say that there are none is cover all the water and move to other rivers if they are holding fish. The comments are owned by the poster.
